Mentoring

Shedding fear. Grounding in love.

In a wonderful ICF webinar* ‘Fear and Love in Supervision’ Robin Shohet speaks of finding* the notion of there being only two emotions; fear and love.  The suggestion that we are either acting from one or the other chimes with my lived experience of my own internal world. It resonates in me deeply.

My purpose and offer as a Mentor is to be alongside you as you work towards your ICF Accreditation, or renewal of it.I will accompany you during a process that invites you to remember, re-establish and call upon your innate presence. Offering an embodied approach calling in feeling, sensing, listening, visualising and practising; awareness will be evoked of being in lived, generative relation with the Core Competencies. We will dance with the Code of Ethics and and ICF values.  We will cultivate the soil of interconnected partnering in all things coaching so that the sometimes seemingly endless fears and tensions that can inhabit the Land of Assessment, Final Performance and Accreditation receede and fall away as we learn to root in the ground of love. I am here too, should you be feeling the need of a mentor connection without needing to accredit or renew.

As I read back through what I have written I realise I am speaking of my own expereince.  My hope is that in sharing with you what I have learned through the years, you will feel more resourced to inhabit and share the beauty of the patterns and textures that are you. What would it be to submit your Credential Application from That abundant place?

In closing, for now, a quote from bell hooks ‘all about love’ –  ‘I know of no one who has embraced a love ethic whose life has not become joyous and more fulfilling.’

If this chimes with you or calls your attention, please do be in touch. I would love to hear from you.
